We organized our notebooks and added our first WTL in the writing section. The sections of the notebook are as follows: Table of Contents, etc.
WTL #1: Tell me everything you have learned/remember about MLA format. Once you have written down everything you can remember, write down why you think we use MLA format to write our papers.
"This is now the third time I have done a WTL about MLA. I don't think I have thought of anything else, oh yeah, transitions. I think transitions are the hardest part about MLA. In other writing formats, all you need is a header. In MLA, you need to make sure that the paragraphs "flow" into one another. Could there be a more vague writing-related word than "flow?" What the crap does that mean? How am I supposed to teach flow? I have found that that is the hardest part about writing.
